As a San Juan School Board Trustee for the past eight years, Saul has focused on providing quality education for our students while maintaining the district’s fiscal responsibilities. Saul has helped tighten budgets and cut waste and has always been a proponent of getting creative when necessary. In 2016, Saul was the co-chair for Measure P ($750 Million School Bond). These funds are now being used to build new schools, repair existing ones and maintain other much-needed district facilities.
"I have earned the support of our local leaders, including former SJUSD Superintendent General Davie Jr., Sacramento County Supervisors Sue Frost and Susan Peters, Sacramento County Board of Education member Paul Keefer and former mayor of Citrus Heights Jeff Slowey.
We have taken great strides to close the achievement gap and to ensure that our students have the skills to excel in college and in the work force.
I promise I will do everything possible to make effective change for our kids."
Thank you for your service to the children and families of the San Juan Unified School District.

I have worked closely with Saul on several community and educational projects. He has served our community and kids of San Juan Unified School District very well over the last eight years. I strongly endorse his re-election campaign and give him my full support. Good Luck Saul!
I am happy to endorse your race for another term.

He’s a small business owner, a dedicated member of the San Juan Unified School District Board and serves as an alternate on the Sacramento Public Library Authority Board. He takes all of these roles seriously and knows that the kids in our community truly deserve the best. Saul is thoughtful, engaged, loves our region, and the bonus? He is a genuinely nice guy."
